From 2008 to 2009 he starred as Ray Montez on the soap opera One Life to Live. Martinez starred as Dr. Ramon Montgomery on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 2011 to 2012. Since 2012 he has starred as Jacob Nighthorse on the TV series Longmire and since 2015 he has starred as Eduardo Hernandez on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. He has won a Daytime Emmy Award, four Soap Opera Digest Awards, and three ALMA Awards.
