Soon, Daniela and Gunter invested in Mayfair SE, a private equity firm, and in Puma, a sporting goods company. In 2006, the sibling duo bought shipping certification company Germanischer Lloyd. Last year, the company merged with Norway’s Det Norske Veritas, later renamed into DNV GL Group. Currently, the company is considered as one of the world’s biggest ship classification companies.
