Nazario has had several hit singles on the Hot Latin Songs, Latin Pop Airplay, and Latin Tropical/Salsa Airplay charts. Her album Por Ti was nominated for two Latin Grammy Awards. Nazario won the Latin Heritage Award for ASCAP in 2004 and the Recording Academy Honors award from NARAS in 2005.
