The show follows three therapists as they work with various clients in Los Angeles, and deal with their own interpersonal issues. Ms. Huemer is widely recognized for her success with “love makeovers” for couples that are struggling. Some of Ms. Huemer’s clients include a former Playmate who keeps attracting the wrong type of men, and an interracial couple with intimacy issues. After many rocky relationships of her own, she is now happily married, and she and her husband are beginning to plan for a family together.
