Boomer co-executive produced the series God, the Devil and Bob from 2000 to 2001. From 2000 to 2005 he executive produced the television series Malcolm in the Middle. Boomer was a consulting producer for the TV series The Mindy Project from 2012 to 2014. He has also written episodes of the TV series Silver Spoons, Night Court, The Boys are Back, Malcolm in the Middle, and more. Boomer won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2000 for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for Malcolm in the Middle.
