He made his debut in August of 2005, becoming the second youngest player in the league at that time, at age 20. He has since played very successfully for the San Francisco Giants and is a 3-Time All Star, and a 2-Time World Champion with the team. On June 13, 2012, he pitched a perfect game against the Houston Astros. It was the first perfect game in the San Francisco Giants history, and June 13 was subsequently named “Matt Cain Day”, by San Francisco’s mayor.
